Inktober 2019: Day 7 – Enchanted

“That gun has survived in my family for at least three whole generations. Got some magick power after that whole business with the flooding, and it’s only been fired once: to kill a Revenant. There ain’t nothin’ you or any Gunsmith could do to recreate that, so I’m keepin’ it safe, right here.”

Inktober 2019: Day 6 – Husky

Have I seen the Giant? Are you yankin’ my chain? It’s kinda damn hard not to see the god-damn Giant of Deadman’s Mass! It’s always on the horizon, loomin’ over something or other, always wandering… like it’s searchin’ for something. I’m personally quite inclined to let it find whatever it is, and I reckon you are too, unless you wanna get flattened…”

Inktober 2019: Day 4 – Freeze

“We heard the tales of Excalibur, King Arthur, and his knights o’ the round table. Those were old legends, even before I entered this world. But knowin’ that somewhere, there was the key to eternal youth lyin’ in some pond? Poor fella just couldn’t let it stand. Even worse, he forgot he had to actually get out of the lake with the thing to live forever.”

Inktober 2019: Day 3 – Bait

“The Great Dragon of the West. I hear some band of fools out there worship the damned thing. Only two people ever saw it. Problem is, last I heard, those folks are now dead as a ghoul’s bones. One thing’s for sure though: you see a giant shadow over the sun? You’re already dusted.”

Inktober 2019: Day 1 – Ring

“Sit on down, grab yourself a drink — let me tell you a story of fools, monsters, and six-shooters…”

“Tales tell of a lonesome man, way out in the desert sands, who chimes in a cold night’s winds. A wide-brimmed hat lined with bells, with robes and poncho to match… what could possibly lie under that hat? Well, fewer folks tell tales of that.”

Character Art Compilation: Inktober 2018

Don’t go down to the swamp, little lass,
Don’t venture past the wall,
‘Cause who knows what you’ll catch, little lass,
From the dreaded Midnight Gobbersnatch…
The Wickerwitch comes and the Wickerwitch goes,
Just what she’s after, nobody knows
But you best be careful not to step on her toes
Or she’ll cast a spell and send you into a doze…
Can you smell that, little one?
Past the trees over yonder,
A delicious meal’s a-cooking
In the House of the Hopperkin…
With a word and a whisper,
Wave the wand above the book,
Spin the magic into a twister,
And summon forth the Nabalok…
Deep in the dark,
Down in the damp,
Deadly and dastardly,
the Cochatripe dines…
From the bogs and barrows,
Under logs and in shallows,
Accursed by a Witch’s ruling,
Beware the Frollagritch’s drooling…
When a merry It tires of its times of play,
A miniscule Sprog leads It home for the day,
There It sleeps for long months at a time,
Finally It awakes to sing its songs and rhymes…
A shining flame on high,
Falling down from the sky,
With a clunk and a trot,
Here comes the Astarot…
A light touch and lighter fingers,
Relieves you of your purse;
In amongst the thieves and singers,
The Robba-Womp’s haul dispersed…
It can’t be leashed,
It can’t be chained,
It slips through bonds,
Like light in the rain.
‘Tis why we never accept
A Gastershire’s Bet,
‘Tis why we never upset
The Gastershires’ Pet…
Tonight the stars dance,
And in their midnight trance,
With blood on its hands,
The Ackruell commands…
Take a dive deep down,
You’ll see something profound:
Majestic and Magnificent
Come! Witness the Wollifont…
